Have you ever been to a philosophy museum?
We doubt it. Then again, we doubt a lot of things. The Portland Philosophy Museum is your one-stop spot for spinning Schopenhauer’s Wheel of Suffering, rolling Sisyphus’s boulder up a mountainside (eternally), and smashing Thomas Hobbes with a baseball bat. Thoughtful stuff. Jean-Paul Tarts are served in our Cafe Ergo Sum, along with Gin and Platonics. At the Portland Philosophy Museum, we’ve dusted off every philosophy pun and thought experiment to inform and delight you. Come with friends, come dressed as a philosopher, come to learn, or come simply to smash Thomas Hobbes.
